Westport will participate in Light + Building 2020, Europe’s dedicated lighting, electrical engineering as well as home and building automation event, in Frankfurt, Germany.

Westport’s booth will highlight devices designed to broaden the potential of next-generation LED luminaires. Offerings in this space include solutions for higher lighting uniformity illumination: Luna Wall Washer, an illumination that creates a straight beam edge suitable for wall lighting application, and the Luna Track, a tracklight that provides the maximum possible light weight in highly purist appearance suitable for residential application. Westport is also showing a series of variable beam tracklights, L071 & L072, that allows people to tune the fixture’s beam angle from 20° to 40° in the field to suit any display in needs of retail and accent lighting.

Another focus will be Westport’s acquisition of Variable Luminaire Corp., a reputable manufacture in the development of ingenious and efficient downlights. Westport will continue to use the Tai Jan part numbers for its products, the highly trusted downlight brand in the world, under the existing licensing agreement with Variable Luminaire Corp. Visitors are invited to step into an reality experience to explore downlights created by Tai Jan, Westport’s new partner in manufacture.

Over the last few years, wall washing and downlights has come into sharp focus for Westport’s research and development, as they represent a multiple frontier for illumination solution.
